Biometrics Guru LLC is a recognized member of the biometric and forensic standards development community, having served as Deputy Editor of ANSI/NIST-ITL 1-2011, NIST Special Publication 500-290 Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint, Facial & Other Biometric Information and as the inaugural chair of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) Standards Board (ASB) Friction Ridge Consensus Body.
